About Us

Guitarsmith’s was founded by Olly Smith, lead singer and guitarist from alt rock band The Vigil.

They have enjoyed a storied career to date touring and supporting notable bands such as Puddle of Mudd, Everclear, Therapy?, The Datsuns, The Answer, Toseland and loads more. In 2016 The Vigil released their debut album ‘Save Our Souls’ produced by Nigel Pulsford from the band Bush to positive reviews and yielded three singles. Most notably ‘All You’ve Done’ which spent 12 weeks on the Plant Rock play list and the music video was directed by esteemed rock photographer Steve Gullick.

Olly has had a life long passion for collecting guitars and in 2014 he formed Guitarsmith’s which specialises in used, rare, unique and desirable instruments. The philosophy behind the company is that we only deal only in the instruments and gear worthy of the stage with an undeniable rock n’ roll attitude and sound. We hope you like what we have to offer and hopefully you will find the next bit of gear that will bring you a special bit of musical mojo!
